Position:

The company is expanding and looking to develop new web applications and cloud platforms for fully remote projects. The team has an immediate need for a Lead Software Engineer. The team is responsible for the E-Commerce platform for the enterprise and works directly with the customer-facing website. The team will be working on new web development and cloud migrations which requires development in .NET/.NET Core, code testing, Scrum meetings, and team mentoring. The role will be predominantly working in a development function creating and maintaining new code, as well as, supporting cloud migration initiatives, and providing leadership/guidance to the team. The candidate should have knowledge of or an interest to learn the .NET Framework, .NET Core, APIs, unit testing, and a firm understanding of databases. The team is looking for someone who is collaborative and able to take initiative starting on new projects while working with a team at your side. Responsibilities:

• Will be developing code full-stack using .NET and .NET Core
• Creating, maintaining, and executing code testing st***gies
• Advising the team on various projects
• Participating in code reviews/Scrum meetings
• Doing API development and API calls
• Creating new web applications and front-end features using JavaScript frameworks
• Working in a TDD environment
• Assisting the team in cloud migrations using Kubernetes for containers
• Handling pull requests
• Grooming the backlog
• Collabo*** with the team for innovative solutions, designs, and development
• Work with various technologies in an Agile environment: .NET Core, ASP.NET, JavaScript, AWS, Kubernetes, and more!

Qualifications

• Completed a Bachelor's degree or similar years of work experience
• Experience working with the .NET framework, preferably .NET Core
• Experience working with JavaScript frameworks (React/Angular/Node)
• Experience handling leadership responsibilities
• Ability to communicate with a team
• Ability to work fully remote on EST schedules
