As a Salesforce Administrator in our Strategy and Operations Department, you will play a vital role at Future. This is a proactive individual that will be responsible for the continual improvement and enhancement of the Salesforce platform, gathering requirements and feedback, designing scalable best practice solutions, and managing the product road map.
The Salesforce Administrator must have an in-depth understanding of the media industry and current trends. This individual should have deep knowledge of the Salesforce platform, understanding both the current setup and the business objectives, to quickly identify areas of improvement. The Salesforce Administrator should be comfortable with change management and governance, communicating, prioritising, and managing all aspects of a Salesforce implementation as it relates to the Lead to Close process. The ideal candidate will be happy liaising with stakeholders at all levels, with the ability to translate technical information into simple terms, clearly explaining design options and their potential impact.
What you'll be doing... - Manage and perform all aspects of user and licence management to include new user setup/deactivation,roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, Organisational Wide Defaults (OWD) and sharing rules.
- Perform Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dashboards, and reports.
- Perform proactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Checks, and Optimizations.
- Perform user support and escalations.
- Understand and troubleshoot basic triggers and Apex code impacts.Identify and gather requirements, translating into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience.
- Create and manage technical documentation of changes to the overall Salesforce platform, to include process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts.
- Create and manage platform roadmap and priorities based on feedback from stakeholders.
- Design and manage solutions to business problems or objectives.
- Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements, through written documentation, to all stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood.
- Analyse process or business decisions and make recommendations on how things could be improved or handled more efficiently
Experience that will put you ahead of the curve... - Five (5) years Salesforce Administrator hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud. Apex, Tableau, and Zapier/Mulesoft experience preferred
- Experience in data migration, and user onboarding and support
- Bachelor's Degree required or seven (7) years of experience.
- Certifications/Specific Knowledge: Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Advanced Administrator
- Strong Salesforce product knowledge and active in the Salesforce Community.
- In-depth understanding of the media industry and current trends
- Ability to facilitate relations between business partners
- Leadership and consensus-building skills
- Experience of working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Knowledge and understanding of businesses supported
- Can conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Advanced interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
