Job Description:

Change is Happening!!! Be a part of it. Accenture Federal Services has an exciting opportunity for a System Engineer II to apply systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. This role will interact with the client regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. The System Engineer II will communicate with other program personnel, client overseers.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform systems engineering activities and assist in the preparation of a work product in Technical Process Areas associated with the ISO/IEC 15288.
  • Develop and deliver a work product in any of the ISO/IEC 15288 Process Areas.
  • Perform analysis of technical alternatives for a project and make preliminary recommendations.
  • Assist in performing systems engineering activities in the ISO/IEC 15288 Agreement or Enterprise Process Areas.
  • Perform systems engineering activities and assist in the preparation of multiple work products in Project and/or Technical Process Areas associated with any of the ISO/IEC 15288 processes.
  • Perform systems engineering activities and develop and deliver work products in each of the ISO/IEC 15288 Project and Technical Process Areas.
  • Independently analyze, and recommend alternatives for elements of projects technical design.
  • Perform systems engineering activities and develop and deliver work products of either the ISO/IEC 15288 Agreement or Enterprise Process Areas.
  • Responsibility for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288.

Here's what you need:
  • 5 years of system engineering experience
  • Experience performing troubleshooting and data maintenance on operational systems and tools
  • Experience conducting beta testing of software in development

Security Clearance:
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.

Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role

California: $90,700 - $147,100

Colorado: $90,700 - $127,100

New York City: $105,000 - $147,100

Washington: $96,600 - $135,200
