Electrical Engineer-Senior to join our team in Springfield, VA to support our mission critical customer.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI Government security clearanceThe selected candidate will be responsible for the facilities operation and maintenance services to include construction, power generation, warehousing, transportation systems, environmental health and safety, security, as well as all aspects of maintaining and repairing the site and its ancillary buildings. Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the management, oversight and planning for engineering design, procurement, and construction or modifications to the installation that affect the performance of critical mission systems.
Responsibilities and Duties Include:- Approve and manage red line drawing, SOWs and ROMs for proposed engineering solutions and modifications to the installation
- Successful operation and planning associated with program related configuration management, project/construction management, recapitalization planning and engineering related functions
- Work with tradesmen of all disciplines to troubleshoot and resolve system and facility issues
- Engineer and design an electrical system from generation to rack mounted equipment
- Design packages and be a self-contained engineer
- Instrumental control
- Preventive maintenance planning
Minimum Requirements:- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience which shall include mechanical and electrical systems, working with the government, working in a secure atmosphere, experience in data centers (power and cooling), configuration management experience and knowledge and experience with SIEMENS and Lutron systems.
- Must be a Professional Licensed Engineer (PE) in Electrical or able to obtain licensing.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI Government security clearance.
