Description The Origin program is in need of a Cloud Systems Engineer who has experience with designing, deploying, and managing cloud environments from Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google, Oracle Cloud Compute, and IBM. Experience should also include on-premise VMWare/Nutanix virtual hosting environments, MS Windows Server 2012-2019 administration, Windows PowerShell scripting, Active Directory, VDI, and NetAPP storage solutions. Applicant should be able to design and develop complex solutions with minimal to no assistance from peers. Daily duties include O&M of virtual environments, and designing and implementing new technologies. Should also be able to review peers' designs and ensure solution is sound. Must be able to work in a large team environment and collaborate when needed. Adaptability and thinking outside the box to meet complex customer requirement is key. This is a high-profile program supporting projects working on highly visible applications AND building the next generation of these applications.
Primary Responsibilities: - Design, deploy, and manage cloud-oriented solutions from major vendors such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google, Oracle Cloud Compute, and IBM.
- Automate cloud deployments using Ansible and/or TerraForm.
- Assist with efforts to prototype new cloud technologies and services that are key to the cloud roadmap.
- Design, deploy, and manage on-premise solutions using virtual environments implemented under VMWare or Nutanix and using NetAPP storage or hyperconverged systems.
- Build Windows-based servers and desktops from versions 2012-2019 within both cloud and on-premise hosting environments.
- Build networked cloud nodes to provide site-to-site connectivity and IP address obfuscation.
- Provide technical expertise and assist with systems integration and consolidation efforts across multiple systems environments.
- Addresses and resolves technical problems of moderate complexity relating to the installation and upgrade of systems hardware and systems.
- Interface with customers, vendors and other technical staff to analyze business and technical requirements.
- Engineer/implement technical solutions from a cradle to grave technical approach.
- Assist/train engineers on new technologies to improve the organizations technical expertise.
- Utilize tools and programming languages to perform repetitive tasks.
- Requires expert knowledge of and ability to apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts.
Required Qualifications: - Active TS/SCI with Polygraph. Candidates who do not currently possess this level of clearance will not be considered.
- Typically requires BS degree (or equivalent experience) and 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 years of prior relevant experience, additional experience in lieu of degree
- Demonstrated experience with the following:
- Cloud first and cloud native architectures (any or all of Amazon Web Services, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle, IBM)
- Utilizing cloud services to build infrastructure as code in an automated fashion
- Strong communication skills via documentation and verbally
- Demonstrated experience for client support of large-scale enterprise applications.
Preferred Qualifications: - Certifications in AWS, Azure, or other cloud environments.

Pay Range: Pay Range $122,200.00 - $220,900.00
