Description The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has a continuing requirement for Homeland Enterprise IT Secure Services and Support (HEITS) the continual operations and maintenance and evolution of the Homeland Secure Data Network (HSDN) and the Classified Local Area Network (C-LAN). Successful candidates must possess the following skills: Primary Responsibilities - This position will work with other Project Managers to ensure project schedules are created on all active projects and are maintained, updated and provided for inclusion into the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). This position will develop a process for cataloging and storing all project schedules. This position will also work with the Project Controller to serve as a backup on all Project Controller functions and assume responsibility for some functions as determined. This position will also serve as Project Manager on assigned projects, to prepare cost estimates for business requirements and follow the project through to completion (deployment). Additional responsibilities include:

- Research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software.
- Build strong customer relationships.
- Track cost schedule and performance of projects.
- Ensure customer is informed of project status.
- Work with procurement, engineering and deployment in a matrix organization to achieve project goals
Basic Qualifications - Organizational skills to include tracking project costs, schedules and performance.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Develop presentations to brief customers and management.
- Understand and perform in a matrixed environment.
- Strong customer relationship management skills.
- Clearance Requirement: Secret (Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI).
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: - Requires a BA degree and 8 - 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 - 10 years of prior relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications - DHS or other government contract experience
- Knowledge of HEITS processes
- TS clearance

Pay Range: Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
