Company DescriptionJob DescriptionResponsibilities- Estimate design/build projects, residential, commercial, and municipal in nature.
- Research the cost of items such as materials, transport, labor and equipment.
- Assess the risk levels associated with a project.
- Ensure profitability through preparation of competitive proposals.
- Manage the submittal process for projects and bids.
- Define project scope, acquire bids and approve all invoices from subcontractors.
- Schedule short term and long-term crews for projects.
- Conduct daily site visits on projects, monitoring subs, quality and schedule.
- Monitor the costs at the different stages of a project to ensure it stays within the estimated costs
QualificationsRequirements- A Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University is preferred; An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- 3+ years of related project management, coordination, and estimating experience.
- Landscape Design/Build and/or Residential/Commercial Construction Management industry experience is required.
- Ability to read blueprints and lay out a job site.
- Ability to understand contracts, scope of work, change order preparation, and bill of materials.
- Ability to plan, organize, and negotiate along with general business knowledge.
- Strong communication skills, personal accountability, performance management, employee development, and ability to help create a positive work environment.
