POSITION SUMMARY:
The Architect / Engineer / Project Manager will work directly with the LDG Development Director for Team Kentucky and team members and will be responsible for the following tasks (approx. percentage of workload): create a preliminary, conceptual site and building designs for LDG's multifamily development projects (10%); engage and manage 3rd party consultants (40%); plan review, coordination and permitting (30%); and, construction oversight (20%). Scope of position may vary with candidate qualifications and workload.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Facilitate preliminary, conceptual designs for each multifamily project, including site, buildings, and amenities.
- Review consultant fee proposals, contracts, and invoicing.
- Review, oversee and project manage the creation of civil, architectural, and engineering plans set for permit submittal and approval, including consistency and compliance with LDG company standards.
• Manage, facilitate and expedite the attainment of site and building permits.
• Maintain, track and adhere to a project schedule.
• Facilitate effective communication between the development and project consultant teams.
• Work with federal, state, county, and city agencies to comply with requirements.
• Visit and inspect construction projects for compliance with plans, specifications project budget and quality control. Manage and facilitate plan set revisions and change orders as necessary.
- Project Management of multiple projects in various phases of design, development, and permitting.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES• 5+ years of multifamily architectural design and development experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Planning or a related field.
- State registered architect or P.E. preferred
• Exceptional communication, coordination, and relationship skills.
- Proficiency in the use of computers and industry-standard software technology including AutoCAD, Adobe, ProCore and other project management software.
• Negotiation and management of sub-contracts with architectural and engineering consultants.
- Knowledge of building, ADA, and energy codes.
