Encora is looking for a Magento Technical Lead. We are looking for super-stars to work with cutting edge technologies and develop awesome user experiences. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of IT experience and 3+ years of development experience in Magento 2.0. The Magento developer will be working on a variety of projects, working with Magento 2, OO PHP development, MVC Frameworks, CI and more! As a Magento Developer, you'll work with a small team, while remaining very much hands-on.
This position needs onsite at Englewood Cliffs, NJ.QUALIFICATIONS- 5+ years of experience in IT
- 3+ years of development experience in Magento 2.0
- Custom Module Development in Magento 2.x
- Automated Product Import Export in Magento 2.x
- Strong experience in web technologies like PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS Understanding of MVC design pattern and framework.
- Worked in multiple E-commerce projects in Magento 2.x
- Experience in the development of custom modules, System Architecture, Payment Gateway in Magento 2.x
- Can write custom extensions
- Strong knowledge of eCommerce platform
- Knowledge of Linux and MySQL
- Magento specific optimization skills with the ability to analyze performance
- Experience in Magento 2 Major & Minor version upgrades
RESPONSIBILITES- Work with product owners to determine and document application requirement
- Suggest technical solutions to business problems/opportunities
- Implement discovered requirements, whether through existing application interface or via custom enhancements
- Coordinate and execute data migration/integration initiatives
- Collaborate with offshore developers within a team environment
- Manage timelines and expectations by effectively prioritizing tasks and keeping open lines of communication with business stakeholders
- Conduct code review sessions
- Prepare code for production deployment
- Follow Encora coding best practices
- Document design and implementation details of new systems and features
- Keep abreast of new development tools and techniques
