Job Description:
American Student Assistance® is currently seeking a Senior Digital Marketing Manager to oversee a multi-million-dollar digital media strategy and help execute the large volume of marketing campaigns that are needed to achieve our annual consumer acquisition objectives. The ideal candidate has experience running paid campaigns via platforms such as Google, YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat and Instagram, exhibits both creative and analytical thinking, and is a results-oriented team player.

This person feels comfortable autonomously managing large scale budgets and multiple paid media campaigns, owning influencer and content creator programs and collaborating closely with two direct reports and our internal agency to develop bold, engaging content that resonates with middle and high school students.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage all facets of a sizable paid media program including strategy, budget planning and allocation, audience targeting, content development, campaign execution and in-depth analysis.
  • Understand key inputs into paid media performance and be able to proactively identify trends and areas of opportunity among the social media platforms that Gen Z is using daily.
  • Write creative briefs and define objectives/KPIs for creative teams to produce compelling messaging and creative assets that align with each paid media channel.
  • Have a solid understanding of performance marketing and key metrics (CPM, CVR, CPA).
  • Own the analysis and reporting of multi-channel campaign execution and be able to socialize findings and actionable insights to internal team members.
  • Develop, launch and oversee A/B testing strategies.
  • Manage influencer outreach and content development programs, including identification and contract negotiation.
  • Stay current on emerging trends, innovative technologies and best practices to constantly evolve our paid media and organic social media strategy.
  • Manage and develop two direct reports, providing strategic direction on their projects and professional development.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience managing paid media/social media campaigns at scale.
  • Experience planning and rolling out large-scale marketing campaigns and the ability to identify and drive improvements using a data-driven approach.
  • Demonstrate a creative mindset with the ability to partner with creative teams on content development.
  • A deep understanding of performance marketing KPIs and practices.
  • Expertise in multiple ad platforms including TikTok, Snap, AdWords, and Meta.
  • Experience managing direct reports.
  • Proficient in Google Analytics.
  • Passionate about our mission and helping middle and high school students find their career path.


Education:Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • The ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
  • A deep understanding of digital marketing, cultural trends and consumer motivations.
