Transaction Advisory Managing Director:

Managing directors in consulting are primarily responsible for providing direction and guidance to teams of employees and ensuring that projects are accomplished in a timely manner.
  • Developing and executing the company's business strategies
  • Providing strategic advice to the board and chairperson
  • Preparing and implementing comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement
  • Develop and execute the company's business strategies in order to attain the goals of the board and shareholders
  • Provide strategic advice to the board and Chairperson so that they will have accurate view of the market and the company's future
  • Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement by planning cost-effective operations and market development activities
  • Ensure company policies and legal guidelines are communicated all the way from the top down in the company and that they are followed at all times
  • Communicate and maintain trust relationships with shareholders, business partners and authorities
  • Delegate responsibilities and supervise the work of executives providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance
  • Read all submitted reports by lower rank managers to reward performance, prevent issues and resolve problems
  • Act as the public speaker and public relations representative of the company in ways that strengthen its profile

What you'll be doing:

Financial due diligence for both buy-side and sell-side transactions, which includes:
  • Data gathering, manipulation, and analysis
  • Building agendas and discussion points for meetings with client and/or target companies
  • Identifying key accounting issues and deal risks - including the identification, calculation, and documentation of quality of earnings and net working capital adjustments
  • Communicating and interacting with both internal and external leaders on a daily basis
  • Leading management meetings
  • Preparing and reviewing deliverables
  • Coaching and development of less experienced team members
  • Participating in firm initiatives and recruiting efforts


To be a good fit for our MD role you will have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required (advanced degree is a plus)
  • CPA designation required
  • Experience in Big 4/public accounting performing audits and related services for a diverse client base, and at least 7-8+ years of transaction services / due diligence experience
  • Experience identifying, calculating, and documenting adjustments related to EBITDA and net working capital
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Experience leading meetings with various members of management (both clients and target companies)
  • Microsoft Office proficiency with a focus on strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • The ability to work independently and on multiple projects concurrently

  • Ability to travel - up to 75%
