Your role.Your work will include, but not be limited to:
- Be a technical expert in all aspects of Snowflake
- Work hands-on with customers at a deep technical level to successfully position and implement Snowflake using best practices, including knowledge transfer to customers.
- Guide customers and resolve customer-specific technical challenges with Snowflake
- Responsible for end-to-end data analytics design, data modeling, and development for Snowflake for multiple client projects.
- Provide database administration and architecture for cloud-based database technologies, e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, AWS
- Authoring internal and client-based training workshops related to cloud database technologies
- Establishing best practices for data architecture best practices for Snowflake and cloud platforms.
- Delivering robust and scalable solutions to clients
- Working with other data management technologies, e.g., ETL, data quality
- Build and manage client relationships, including practice development activities
- Managing client relationships and project management duties
- Mentor junior staff
- Learn quickly and stay on top of new technologies relevant in the marketplace
- Providing recommendations to management and driving future direction and pursuit paths

The qualifications. - Bachelor's degree or above
- 7-15 years of experience with data warehouse and analytics architecture.
- 5+ years' experience with Snowflake and related technology stack, ETL/ELT, and database administration
- 3+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience in development, modeling, and architecture.
- Advanced knowledge of Python programming and experience with Snowpark
- Possesses strong hands-on experience with SQL or Database Administrator
- Have proven experience with data modeling including dimensional data modeling and related technologies.
- Proven understanding of traditional analytics projects, such as data warehouses, data lakes, master data management, system integrations, etc.
- Prior experience with full data analytics stack from ETL to data platform architecture and design to BI and analytics tools.
- Prior consulting experience including new business development preferred.

Salary Class Salary
Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) Information Compensation is commensurate with technical skills and experience and is provided in accordance with the CO Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. Compensation information posted is based on a position being located in the state of CO. Please review position location for applicable geographic location. Colorado monthly base range is as follows: $10,583.33 to $13,833.33
We are pleased to offer eligible staff a robust benefits package. Eligibility and contribution requirements for some of these benefits vary based on the number of hours staff work per week. Highlights include health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance. These standard offerings are effective on the first of the month following your start date. In addition to this, eligible staff are able to take advantage of our Flexible Time Off and various pre-determined holidays as well as a balance fund, 401(k) plan, flexible benefits plans, business-related travel expense, lodging and meal reimbursement for business-related use. A Pension plan is also available for eligible administrative and paraprofessional staff. A discretionary bonus plan is available for eligible staff. Plante Moran also offers Interns and Contractors the option to elect health insurance under our contingent staff medical plan as of the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment in addition to limited paid time sick time.
