Job Description
Slalom St. Louis is seeking a Director to join the Client Partner team. This role involves building and maintaining close relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients, understanding their strategies and objectives, and representing Slalom's technical services. The position focuses on setting strategic direction, delivering solutions, leading teams, driving sales, and managing accounts.

Candidates must live in St. Louis Metro, and be open to working onsite at the Slalom office and client sites.

Responsibilities:
  • Build and sustain strategic, collaborative relationships within accounts, serving as the main contact for clients and consultants.
  • Manage revenue responsibilities starting at $5M, depending on accounts.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, managing the full project lifecycle from initiation to delivery.
  • Lead efforts in revenue generation, account management, consulting, and operations.
  • Oversee project sales cycles, including the creation of estimates, proposals, and SOWs.
  • Drive strategic proposal-based deals and manage client negotiations on cost, scope, and timelines.
  • Maintain a utilization target of 40%.
  • Supervise the onboarding of consultants and ensure client satisfaction through quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with consulting leaders, account management, and business development teams.

Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in the consulting industry, with experience growing accounts and delivering on projects.
  • The ability to effectively balance business development, contracting/negotiating, solutioning, client engagement, delivery excellence enablement, operations/financial management, and team/people management in a single role.
  • Extensive experience in account management and client relationships, with a focus on revenue management and strategic growth.
  • Demonstrated success in selling consulting projects and increasing client service offerings.
  • Strong skills in estimating work, responding to RFPs, and writing SOWs.
  • Excellent negotiation, conflict management, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proven experience in developing GTM content, thought leadership, marketing solutions and assets to respond to digital disruption and shape conversations.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering high-impact consulting services.
  • Previous P&L and direct revenue responsibilities.
