POSITION OVERVIEWThe Account Development Manager ("ADM") role is a hybrid sales position responsible for representing Upneeq® and Elevate, an e-commerce platform, to targeted Med Spas, Plastic Surgeons, Cosmetic Dermatologists, Facial Plastic Surgeons and their staff within a targeted geography. The ADM will focus on both the direct and remote selling of products (physician ordered and/or dispensed) and will consult with practices and staff on the adoption and integration of Upneeq® and Elevate via pull-through programs with the utilization of approved marketing resources and promotions. The ADM will be expected to develop and manage customer relationships and business within a targeted area, develop and deliver appropriate remote and direct training programs for practice staff, and utilize remote and direct selling techniques to expand the demand for Upneeq®. As a member of the sales team, the ADM will work closely with the Strategic Business Managers ("SBMs"), Inside Sales Representatives ("ISRs"), and other colleagues throughout the Commercial organization to achieve specific area and corporate objectives.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Ability to achieve sales deliverables related to approved sales targets within specified area
- Demonstrate effectiveness in technical skills and computer proficiency when engaging with HCPs digitally
- Determine and adjust appropriate area-specific strategies and tactics and develop account-specific objectives and business plans based on the assessment of customer needs
- Effectively educate customers in both remote and direct selling environment through a consultative sales approach, demonstrating an understanding of their business needs and how our product(s) may strategically align with their objectives
- Appropriately prioritize call planning initiatives based on current and targeted customer potential
- Educate accounts about the value proposition of RVL's first of its kind e-commerce portal, Elevate, and partner with accounts throughout the registration process; diagnose and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Effectively utilize all approved resources as well as technology to drive messaging and pull-through
- Maintain in depth knowledge of the product set and unique selling points
- Effectively support clients with any challenging requests, escalating issues as needed, and provide tailored solutions to meet customer needs and objectives
- Collaborate with sales and commercial team to identify and grow opportunities within the targeted area
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives with a focus on customer support and continued business growth
- Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. monthly, quarterly sales results, annual forecasts) and prepare reports on account status
- Demonstrate high ethical and professional standards at all times
- Abide by the Corporate Code of Conduct and Business Ethics and all Company policies and procedures
- Adhere to all administrative requirements, including but not limited to expense reporting, call reporting, and business planning
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's Degree from accredited college/university required
- Approximately 3 to 5 years of documented inside and/or outside sales success in a pharmaceutical, medical aesthetics or business-to-business sales role
- Successful demonstration of selling capabilities in a hybrid selling environment
- Experience managing target lists, account mapping and total office call initiatives to drive brand awareness and impact
- Strong business and financial acumen, and ability to understand profitability for customers/clients
- Proficiency in account development and developing and maintaining strong, positive, ethical customer relationships with client-focused solutions
- Demonstrated ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment
- Ability to thrive in a culture that is performance based, fast paced, and results-oriented
- Highly proficient technical and computer skills, including MS Office / MS Teams, sales database and web-based applications
- Proven experience in learning and utilizing new technology
- Ability to travel outside of assigned geography up to 10% as required, which may include overnight and/or weekend travel
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
