About the RoleWe are seeking a highly-motived Senior New Business Manager to play a pivotal role within the NA Growth Team. This individual has a strategic and analytical background, preferably with Client Service experience within the Advertising industry. This key role will drive RFIx responses, pitch strategy, development, preparation & pitch presentations, responding to ad hoc requests for content, building and establishing client/procurement relationships and to be a source of truth for key stakeholders within WPP. Reporting into the NA MD of Clients and Growth, they will become Hogarth-brand conversant, with intimate understanding of our capabilities and innovative tools. Working closely with Hogarth Leadership whilst integrating themselves within the global new business team, is mission critical. Driving profitable growth is the core objective, so knowledge of the industry with an insatiable curiosity for market trends/emerging tech.
The Senior New Business Manager will need to have a deep understanding of all Hogarth's capabilities and always be at the forefront of the latest services we are developing.
Responsibilities:- Taking accountability and ownership to deliver successful outcomes for specific New Business opportunities, with an ability to develop a strategic framework & narrative based on the RFP
- Maintaining a deep strategic understanding of the full breadth of Hogarth's capabilities and service offerings; becoming a source of truth both internally, as well as with WPP & WPP OpCo Growth Leads as to Hogarth's strategic value & offering
- Collaborating with internal and WPP stakeholders to deliver against specific growth requirements by supporting with their content needs.
- Establishing a seamless and effective strategic working relationship with the Hogarth Global New Business team
- Drive and lead inbound RFI/RFP requests, including validation of opportunities following established process
- Driving the pitch / RFP process, including strategic input and developing framework, whilst ensuring that tasks are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
- Attending client meeting and pitch presentations when required
- Building strong and enduring relationships with key stakeholders in Hogarth, WPP, WPP OpCos and Intermediaries.
- Accountable for ensuring the NA New Business Tracker and Hogarth NA Growth Hub are up to date with the latest content and adhering to guidelines.
- Managing New Business Exec / Content Managers in delivering against the RFI/RFP
- Monitoring and evaluating innovative industry campaigns and the competition - keeping an eye on what's happening in the industry and within Hogarth.
Requirements:Essential:

- Ability to work closely with people at all levels within Hogarth, WPP and WPP OpCos.

- You must be highly organized as we deal with large volumes of content. This is made available to stakeholders on the New Business Growth Hub and this must be maintained and up to date.

- Business and financial knowledge - our new business approach is focused on delivering high ROI (e.g. maintaining our success rates converting opportunities to profitable client wins)
- Team player - our success requires a broad set of skills, so working together is essential to meet our commitments.
- Ability to lead & drive complex projects with multiple moving parts
- Professional - wherever we go, we need to represent our brand in the best possible way.
- Hungry - you should want to win and remain focused on this at all times.
- Inquisitive - innovation is what drives us forward, you should have a natural curiosity about the world around you and specifically with regards advances in the creative content production space.
- Powerpoint skills (advanced design skills not essential as we work with designers specifically for the design).
- However, a great eye for design in briefing designers as to the desired outcome for content to be built
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Teams.
- First-hand experience of driving the pitch process for New Business.
- Background in Production / Digital / Data / Content agency.
Desirable:- A general understanding of all media channels - offline, press, outdoor, radio, TV, PR, in-store, online, social media etc.
- A general understanding of DCO/DCP
- A general understanding of AI
"The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $60,000 to $140,000.
