The Department of Palliative and Supportive Care at Cleveland Clinic is seeking applicants for a full-time clinical staff position at the Main Campus in Cleveland, Ohio. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established, thriving palliative care team with clinical services throughout the spectrum of palliative care. Ideal candidates will be strong clinicians with an interest in medical education and professional development. Candidates must be BC/BE in Palliative Medicine and Hospice and eligible for medical licensure in Ohio.
Primary responsibilities include clinical care and teaching. Clinical responsibilities focus on inpatient consultation with our specialized, interdisciplinary palliative care teams in the ICU, oncology units, and regular nursing floors. Outpatient clinic opportunities, cancer and non-cancer, are also available. Cleveland Clinics Department of Palliative and Supportive Care offers a competitive, robust fellowship program, training 6 physician yearly. Teaching opportunities extend to a variety of trainees, including Hem/Onc, Gyn/Onc, Medical/Neuro ICU, and ethics fellows, medicine and surgical residents, and allopathic and osteopathic medical students. A commitment to interprofessional collaboration and outstanding communication skills are essential. A faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with experience is available at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University.
