Corewell Health South is offering an excellent opportunity to join our group of cardiovascular specialists at Lakeland Heart & Vascular. We are recruiting a full-time Interventional Cardiologist to join our team!

Provide primary health care services and consultation for patients and families, focusing on wellness and health promotion and surgical care services as appropriate.

Group includes 10 physicians, including six interventional cardiologists, three non-interventional, and one electrophysiologist. Teams also includes the support of nine advanced practice providers.

Competitive compensation package includes generous signing bonus, initial salary guarantee, and the opportunity to bonus based on productivity. Position will cover clinics in St. Joseph and Niles, MI. Office in Niles is located at the Heart Center on the campus of Corewell Health South Niles Hospital. Dedicated rounding rotations in St. Joseph. Access to 24/7 hospitalist and intensivist programs.?Epic EHR.

Procedures performed in St. Joseph at Corewell Health South St. Joseph Hospital in our beautiful new state-of-the-art Surgery Suite, Cath Labs, and Hanson Heart Center. This includes the opportunity to perform TEE, cardioversion, and pacemaker implantation.

Qualifications

  • Required Doctorate Graduate of approved Medical College
  • 2 years of relevant experience Clinical experience Preferred
  • LIC-Physician (MD) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required Or
  • LIC-Osteopathic Physician (DO) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
  • CRT-DEA Registration - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required Or
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required
  • CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association depending on age-appropriateness of patient population Upon Hire preferred Or
  • CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS) - AHA American Heart Association depending on age-appropriateness of patient population Upon Hire preferred
