Advantia Health is expanding women health services- we're seeking Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician to join our network, and provide the best patient care in the D.C., Maryland, and Northern Virginia area!
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform minor and major surgeries.
- Prevention, diagnosis and treatment of OB/GYN problems.
- Direct, advise, and supervise medical staff including nurses, nurse practitioners, medical assistants, etc. on proper procedures and protocol.
- Support enhancements of technology to drive higher quality and consumer experience while maintaining clinical quality.
- Examine patients, obtain medical histories, and order, perform and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Actively participate in internal quality improvement teams and work with team members to proactively drive improvement initiatives.
- MFM opportunity is mostly outpatient with some inpatient consults
- Work 8hr shifts Mon-Fri, with dedicated, highly-competent clinical staff
- High volume ultrasound, including interpretation of fetal echocardiograms, first trimester screening, fetal anatomic survey, amniocentesis - (CVS experience appreciated, not mandatory) **
- Antenatal assessment interpretation including NST, biophysical profile
Qualifications:
- Board certified in General Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Board Certified or Eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
- Previous experience in a Maternal-Fetal Medicine role is preferred.
- Active Medical License in the State of Maryland/Virginia/DC is strongly preferred.

- Compensation Range: $325,000.00-$475,000.00/year
