MyMichigan Medical Center Midland is designated as a Level 2 Trauma Center (verification from the America College of Surgeons and the State of Michigan).

Certifications and Licensures
- Board Certified or Eligible by the American Board of Surgery or the American Osteopathic Board of surgery - or equivalent board in another country which is recognized by the American Board of Surgery
- Applicants must achieve board certification in their primary area of practice within five years from the date of completion of their residency or fellowship training.
- Active State of Michigan License or eligible to apply
- AHA ACLS
Required Education
- Successful completion of an ACGME approved residency
- Fellowship trained Surgical Critical Care Physician
Other Information
- Trauma program is supported by several surgical subspecialists including, but not limited to, cardiothoracic, colorectal, endocrine, neurosurgery, orthopedics and orthopedic trauma, thoracic, urology, and vascular.
- Employment is contingent on successful completion of MyMichigan Healths credentialing process
