Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Hematology/Oncology physician to the group at Jacobi Medical Center/North Central Bronx Hospital. The Hospitals are part of the NYC Health + Hospitals System (NYCHHC). Jacobi is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and NCB has 213 licensed beds and accommodates more than 325,000 outpatient visits, more than 100,000 emergency room visits and more than 20,000 inpatient admissions annually. The hospital also serves patients of many other needs. The hospital maintains an academic affiliation with Albert Einstein Medical College.
Responsibilities
- We are looking for a colleague to join our dynamic group of 6 hematologist-oncologists, in a very friendly working family-like atmosphere

Qualifications
- Completion of Fellowship Training Program in Hematology/Oncology
- Board Certification/Eligibility in Hematology/Oncology.
- Current licensed NY State registration (or the ability to obtain one)
- High attention to detail. Ability to maintain high standards.
Wages and Benefits include:
Annual Base Salary: $300,000 based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $425,520, which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:
- Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.
- Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous years average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
- 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
- Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
- After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
