Pine Rest is actively recruiting Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists to provide care in diverse roles, including inpatient, outpatient, partial hospitalization, residential treatment, urgent care, and specialty clinics in alignment with the exciting progress of our new Pediatric Center of Behavioral Health, opening early 2026.
The Pediatric Center of Behavioral Health will have:
- Three 22-bed units including a dedicated 10-bed NDD unit
- Psychiatric Urgent Care Center for children
- Specialty clinics for ASD, ED, and SUD
- SUD Programming
- ASD assessment and testing
The first floor will host a 66-bed inpatient unit, a psychiatric urgent care center, and multiple spaces to support family and caregivers including a family lounge and cafeteria. The inpatient unit will include a treatment mall, a gym, a kid-friendly dining room, a technology classroom, and an art room. The second floor will house an eating disorders clinic, a substance use disorder clinic, autism services and partial hospitalization programs. The project has many outdoor spaces including pocket parks, a private staff patio and several secure outdoor courtyards for inpatient units.
Pine Rest is a teaching hospital with a psychiatry residency and fellowships in addictions, child and adolescent, geriatrics, and forensics through Michigan State University and a dedicated APP Psychiatry Fellowship Program.
