Position: Psychiatrist - Addiction and Mental Health Programs
Responsibilities:
As the Psychiatrist for our specialized programs, you'll play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care and medication management to program participants. Your daily tasks will include conducting Psychiatric History and Physical assessments, certifying appropriate levels of care, performing 2-3 intakes per day, and diligently monitoring and following up with each patient within the program.
Programs You'll Oversee:
- Addiction Day Treatment:
Level 1: Intensive three-week program
Level 2: Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), a five-week step-down environment
Level 3: Extended Care (EC), a six-week maintenance program
- WINGS Program (Working Interdependently for New Growth and Stabilization):
A two-week partial hospitalization program for adults needing more than outpatient counseling but not requiring inpatient care.
Focus on group sessions covering stress management, coping skills improvement, communication, healthy boundaries, and anger management.
Qualifications:
Medical degree with specialization in Psychiatry
Board certification in Psychiatry
