Job Description

Carle Health is seeking an additional BC Family Medicine physician to join our Faculty team at our established Family Medicine residency Program in Peoria, Illinois.

Practice opportunity details include: 

  • Opportunity will be through the University of Illinois College of Medicine – Peoria Family Medicine residency program
  • This is a role combining Resident precepting, administration, inpatient service, outpatient clinic, and OB service

  • Join a team of 10 Family Medicine faculty, each with their own interests in their practice including women’s health, osteopathic manipulation, and skin clinic
  • Patient Contact hours 32 hours with 8 hours of admin time per week
  • Clinic responsibilities include Outpatient Clinic and Clinical Precepting with Residents
  • Inpatient service for adult medicine and OB, shared equally between the group
  • Varied Call responsibilities
  • Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Must be BC in Family Medicine
  • Must practice full-spectrum Family Practice with OB experience
  • C-section experience (50+ independent c-sections) is ideal but not required
  • Teaching experience ideal but not required
  • Hold an unrestricted license to practice medicine and surgery in Illinois
