Benefis Health System is seeking an Internist to join our dedicated, close-knit team! Our outpatient practice offers a mix of new and experienced physician colleagues in addition to a large group of outpatient specialists in the same building. This is a well-established, highly respected team with great referral networks.
Clinic Details:
- Current practice comprised of 6 physicians, 3 APPs, an Endocrinologist, a Rheumatologist and 2 Infectious Disease Physicians
- Clinic has an outpatient Infusion Suite (non-chemo) with pharmacy support
- Robust staff support in the clinic including:
- 22 clinical staff members, a prescription nurse, dieticians, diabetic educators and phlebotomists to ensure a smooth and efficient practice environment
- 11 office staff for scheduling and follow up
- Clinical RN manager located on the floor
- Clinic is open and staffed Monday - Friday 7:30 - 5:30 pm but schedule is flexible - part time (2-3 days) and full time (4-5 days) opportunities are available based on practice desires
- Although # of patients per day is flexible, our providers typically see 18-25 patients daily given preference and complexity on their individual and unique schedules
- Call is very minimal as most calls are taken through hospitalist teams
- Opportunity to participate in a future internal medicine residency program, if desired
