Englewood Physician Network is actively recruiting a hematology oncology physician to join the network. The Medical Oncologist shall be a practicing physician who will work with the Department of Hematology/Oncology to contribute to a developing and growing Cancer Center in the areas of Gastrointestinal, Genitourinary and Thoracic Cancers. This position will work in collaboration with our multidisciplinary cancer team including direct collegial onsite support from areas such as surgery, radiation oncology, pathology, radiology and nurse navigation within a COC accredited Cancer Center. The Medical Oncologist may have an opportunity to collaborate with the NCI on several research opportunities.
Our Cancer Center has 8 established DMTs each coordinated by recognized subspecialty Surgical and Medical Oncologists. We actively participate in clinical trials and educate medical students and house staff. Based in a brand new, state-of-the art facility, The Lefcourt Family Cancer Treatment & Wellness Center at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center include a 36-bay infusion center, a cutting-edge Radiation Oncology suite with two new Varian True Beams, and the full range of medical, surgical, genetic counseling, and Palliative Care services. The Lefcourt Family Cancer Treatment & Wellness Center is COC and NAPBC accredited and features oncology certified nurse practitioners, an oncology certified pharmacist, research coordinators, nurse navigators, nutritionists, chaplains, and integrative medicine providers.
