As an Otolaryngologist at ENT Carolina, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive and advanced medical care to patients with disorders related to the ear, nose, throat, and related structures of the head and neck. Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of ear, nose, throat, and head and neck disorders in patients of all ages.
- Conduct thorough medical evaluations, consultations, and examinations to determine accurate diagnoses and appropriate treatment plans.
- Perform various surgical procedures, including but not limited to tonsillectomies, adenoidectomies, sinus surgeries, and other ENT-related surgeries.
- Collaborate with other medical professionals within the practice to ensure integrated patient care and treatment plans.
- Stay updated with the latest medical advancements, treatment modalities, and research within the field of Otolaryngology.
- Provide patient education on medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using the practice's electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Participate in departmental meetings, case reviews, and peer consultations.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited Otolaryngology residency program.
- Board certification or eligibility in Otolaryngology.
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of North Carolina or ability to obtain.
- Strong clinical acumen and proficiency in diagnosing and treating ENT disorders.
- Excellent surgical skills with a commitment to providing the highest standard of patient care.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.
