Job Description

Wake Forest School of Medicines Department of Surgery is seeking an additional Thoracic Surgeon to practice at clinical sites across our service area due to the continued growth of our department, medical school and health system.

 

The selected individual will join us at a time of tremendous opportunity at Wake Forest Baptist Health resulting from our partnership with Atrium Health, which is investing $3.4 billion in our health system and medical school over the next ten years including the development of a full second medical school campus in Charlotte, North Carolina.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • MD/DO
  • BC/BE in thoracic surgery
  • Minimum 3+ years post training experience
  • Ability to obtain an NC medical license
  • Commitment to excellence with the highest level of integrity and a reputation for compassion, fairness and objectivity
