In this role, you will act as an experienced financial manager partnering with senior functional leaders throughout the organization, to budget, forecast and manager IAS's cost of service, compensation, and operating expenses globally. You'll implement best practices in cost management, drive cross functional expense ownership, and leveraging our financial technology tools (Adaptive) to provide insights and opportunities for cost agility and optimization. This role reports into the Senior Director of FP&A, and will also work closely with the accounting organization and the CFO.
What you'll be doing as a Senior Manager, FP&A:- Key finance partner for executive functional leaders including such as Engineering, Product, Marketing, Sales, HR, Finance, Facilities and Legal, handling all expense (above EBITDA) including cost of service (COS), compensation and operating expenses
- Develop and maintain the annual budgets, building alignment with business partners and maintain the forecast throughout the year
- Track actual expenses and meet with stakeholders monthly to update and reforecast expenses throughout the year
- Partner closely with Global HR officer and FP&A lead to forecast and track compensation costs, including open positions
- Key contact person for tracking, coding and management of 1,000+ IAS vendors. Partner with Global Procurement lead, A/P and legal
- Leverage IAS technology and seek out opportunities for process efficiencies, leveraging Looker, Adaptive Planning, and other data tools
- Identify and escalate opportunities for cost efficiencies throughout the organization
- Conduct variance analysis of actuals vs forecast during month end close, supporting Accounting, FP&A and CFO teams
- Support recurring and ad hoc reporting and analysis for Senior Leadership, Investors and Board of Directors, along with the broader FP&A team
- Partner with FP&A team to design, track and manage KPIs, and develop audience appropriate reports for executive, IR, and board packages
- Increase visibility between our regional and global FP&A and cost centers through direct partnership and regular meetings
- Additional responsibilities and projects as needed
- Key player on agile, adaptive, and hands on FP&A team, with strong career path opportunities
What we're open to seeing in your experiences:- 5-8 years of relevant FP&A experience
- Ability to building relationships with senior level leaders across various departments
- Extensive financial modeling and reporting experience
- Progressive experience in the ad tech and/or advertising industries a plus
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and other financial applications (ERPs, BI Tools, etc). We utilize Sage Intacct, Workday, Power BI, Looker, and Adaptive Insights
- Any experience managing an analyst is a plus, but not required
- Hands-on detail & oriented individual willing to be immersed in all aspects of the finance function
- Excellent communication skills, able to clearly and accurately message complex concepts in an easy to understand format
- Proactive work ethic and ability to perform with minimal supervision
- Bachelor's degree
California Applicants: The salary range for this position is $119,000 - $204,000. Actual pay may vary based on experience or geographic location.
