The hospital provides a full range of services including medical/surgical, intensive care, and full radiological services (including CT, ultrasound, bone density, mammography, nuclear medicine and MRI). Other services include a center for health and fitness, two primary care clinics, seven-bed intensive care unit, ambulance service, oncology and cardiac rehabilitation. There are 40 active staff physicians whose specialities include: internal medicine, family practice, radiology, general surgery, pathology, podiatry, orthopedic surgery, OB/GYN, ENT, anesthesia, pediatrics, ophthalmology, gastroenterology and oncology. THE COMMUNITY Granbury, nestled on the banks of a 30-mile recreational lake and boasting a restored historical district, is a lovely resort community with exquisite dining and shopping amenities located 35 miles southwest of Fort Worth. Several gated communities - two of which have private golf courses - offer beautiful, affordable homes, some of which back up to canals and have private boat docks providing easy access to the lake. The historic area exhibits the Victorian courthouse square, established in 1871 and placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974, as well as the Granbury Opera House, built in 1886 and restored in the early 1970s offering plays, musicals and original productions 11 months of the year. Granbury hosts an array of lovely antique and art galleries, Victorian bed and breakfasts, and dining pleasures from country to gourmet.
