We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Proposal Manager to join our team. As a Proposal Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the development and execution of strategic proposals to secure new business opportunities.
In this dynamic role, the Proposal Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information, establish timelines, and develop compelling proposals that effectively articulate our value proposition. By leveraging your exceptional writing and project management skills, you will be responsible for the end-to-end proposal process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, winning proposals that exceed client expectations.
Responsibilities - Lead proposal development efforts, coordinating with internal stakeholders to gather necessary information and resources
- Analyze Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to understand client requirements, developing customized proposals that address their specific needs
- Create and maintain proposal development plans, timelines, and schedules
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop technical content and ensure compliance with RFP guidelines
- Design and implement a knowledge management system to store, track, and reuse proposal-related content
- Review and edit proposals for quality, consistency, and alignment with company branding and messaging
- Coordinate bid/no-bid decision-making process in collaboration with senior management
- Foster strong relationships with clients and internal teams to ensure alignment and clarity of proposal responses
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Proposal Manager or in a similar role
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and proposal management software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with industry best practices in proposal development and management
