Job Summary**Hybrid Work Environment - Must reside in Hawaii **
Pay range: $68,000 - $133,000,position is eligible for an incentive bonus
Note: Individuals typically begin between the minimum to middle of the pay range
Manage, train, develop and lead team responsible for planning and executing projects for the Commercial line-of-business. This includes but is not limited to annual, semi-annual and monthly renewals/open enrollment for ACA, individual and small groups as well as new and existing regulatory requirements/projects.
Oversee projects and assigned staff to ensure timely and accurate execution and implementation of said projects -- providing input and guidance of best practice project management. Scope of projects includes but is not limited to working with affected business areas, working with and assisting with the coordination of new systems or enhancements of existing systems within the context of the projects. Ensure appropriate corporate and stakeholder communication from the project and incorporate feedback as necessary for project and process improvement. Provide Commercial Program Office (CPO) representation and contribute to corporate projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree and five years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
- One year supervisory/management experience.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong quantitative skills such as statistics and data analysis
- Strong process improvement skills.
- Knowledge of database concepts and relationships.
- Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Duties and Responsibilities- Management
- Manages, trains, develops and coaches staff on job role and responsibilities. Develops training and update/keep current as needed as well as monitors and assesses for ongoing job competency.
- Manages, tracks, reports and adjusts work assignments of all direct reports.
- Manages staff to maximize productivity in order to achieve both corporate and departmental priorities and objectives.
- Manages and facilitates delivery of new technology throughout the department as needed, including implementation and post project monitoring and improvement.
- Manages the overall project postmortem and process improvement efforts conducted by staff.
- Strategic Planning
- Develops and updates a CPO technology roadmap and needs assessment that aligns and supports the Commercial line-of-business and the enterprise technology roadmap.
- Business Partnerships
- Develops collaborative working relationships with internal departments and external partners.
- Quality Assurance
- Ensures the development and documentation of project plans.
- Establishes and implements audit procedures which ensure the accurate and timely delivery of project deliverables and reporting requirements.
- Performs all other miscellaneous responsibilities and duties as assigned or directed.
