Title: Strategy & Operations Business Partner - Professional ServicesMandate Beacon Platform is looking for a Strategy & Operations Business Partner, reporting to the Senior Business Partner for Strategy & Analytics.
The Strategy & Operations team at Beacon has 5 key missions:
Strategy - Work with Beacon Heads of Businesses in setting and driving vision, strategy and operational effectiveness
Analysis- Establish goals and metrics and take responsibilities for removing blockers to achieve those goals
Operations- Drive business forward through translating short-term and long-term strategy into actions to ensure scalable growth
Partnership - Help build inclusive culture by partnering with team members to help them thrive and achieve their full potential at Beacon
Alignment- Enable cross-functional communication and projects spanning multiple business units
This role will act as a business partner to the Senior Vice President of Solutions & Delivery to make improvements within the Professional Services organization (supporting our teams that help clients onboard and expand their usage of Beacon). This is simultaneously a strategic and hands-on role, where a self-motivated, detail-oriented critical thinker will drive internal business initiatives, identify opportunities to make our teams more effective, and implement new processes as we grow to scale.
Strategy & Analysis: - Envision, research and propose business initiatives within post sale client facing teams
- Define and establish appropriate metrics and KPIs for the organization
- Track and monitor PS Revenue and Profitability metrics to help the team achieve their goals
- Facilitate ad-hoc requests and special projects and provide insights to influence outcomes and add value to the different client success teams
Operations: - Work through data-driven staffing and resource allocation processes to ensure high quality and good outcomes for our clients and ability to meet pipeline demand
- Manage the operations of working with third party consulting firms as resource augmentation for our Professional Services Organization
- Validate and monitor methodology for prioritization of initiatives
- Create and manage a customer satisfaction survey process
- Serve as administrator for the project management software tool
Partnership & Alignment: - Provide support for business management
- Partner with Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Engineering on projects or other business related matters
- Develop rapport with various team members and become a trusted advisor
- Work with 3rd party consulting firms to augment our resourcing needs
Qualifications Required:
- 3+ years in the software industry, preferably with SaaS experience and/or 3+ years experience in operations/consulting
- Proven success in running programs and processes that enable organizations to scale quickly and efficiently, leading to improvement in KPIs related to retention, expansion, and customer health
- Deep understanding of service delivery
- Familiarity with Professional Services/Consulting methodologies, metrics and KPIs
- Familiarity/Expertise in Project Management Software
- Strong quantitative skills and ability to analyze financial dataset
- Sound judgment and ability to challenge decisions when necessary
- A self-starter with the ability to independently research and arrive at and deliver conclusions
- Curiosity and desire to research / analyze the competitive landscape of the Financial Platform industry, and its associated ecosystem
- Experience in operations management or management consulting
- Preferred:
- Familiarity/Expertise in Salesforce.com
- Financial technology industry experience
- Understanding of financial products
Expected Salary Range: $125,000 - 150,000
