Position Summary:

FCB Chicago is seeking a strategic and effective Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Program Manager to implement solutions and initiatives that support the growth and success of our diverse workforce.

The DE&I Program Manager will be responsible for end-to-end management of a portfolio of programs with specific focus on agency culture initiatives and talent development programs. This role requires a DE&I Program Manager that is self-motivated and proactive in evaluating and adapting to meet the evolving needs of the agency and its employees.

The successful candidate should demonstrate sound business acumen and be skilled in aligning DE&I strategies with key business objectives and priorities. They should also be equipped to address and resolve DE&I-related challenges within the agency using empathy and a solutions-oriented approach.

The DE&I Program Manager will report directly into the Vice President - Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and will engage in cross-collaboration across departments, teams, ERGs and the Culture & Inclusion Community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of DE&I programs - Identify, coordinate and track critical activities, milestones and deliverables using strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Provide guidance, structure, and oversight to the Culture & Inclusion Community and Employee Resource Groups as they develop and activate their programming roadmaps.
  • Partner with the Learning & Development team to identify and execute training programs that support cultural fluency and other DE&I themes for employees at all roles, levels, and departments.
  • Collect, monitor, and report on employee data and feedback to track progress, measure effectiveness, and inform future priorities.
  • Develop and deliver presentations, playbooks, and other resources that communicate the department processes, best practices, and POVs.
  • Consolidate and integrate other agency processes and best practices into the development and maintenance of DE&I department processes.
  • Help raise awareness of DE&I programs and initiatives through both internal and external communication channels.
  • Develop, manage and forecast annual budgets for all programs within their program portfolio.
  • Coordinate logistics and attend DE&I related events, including travel for conferences, recruiting events, industry functions, and cross-network collaborations.
  • Stay current with DEI best practices and industry trends and apply this knowledge to enhance our DEI programs.

Qualifications:
  • DE&I Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in implementing DE&I initiatives or programs within a corporate environment.
  • Program Management: Proven track record of developing and managing multiple programs simultaneously, including Employee Resource Groups and DE&I training programs.
  • Strong Presentation and Communication Skills: Ability to design and deliver engaging presentations and communications, tailored to different audiences and purposes.
  • Strategic Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills: Experience creating and implementing innovative strategic plans that bridge current and future needs of the business.
  • Emotional Intelligence: Possesses the ability to manage one's own emotions and understand and respond appropriately to the emotions of others.
  • Self-Starter: Demonstrates ability to balance competing priorities and identify new opportunities to create impact.
