Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Introduce and sell The Imagine Group's total solution offerings across our targeted vertical markets
- Create action plans and utilize selling tools and Imagine training to convert prospects to active customers
- Deliver effective presentations at the executive level to gain customer engagement
- Meet and exceed sales revenue and profitability targets
- Manage customer relationships and develop strong, long-term, collaborative engagements through appropriate and timely contact, resolution of issues, and achievement of customer satisfaction
- Work closely with internal departments as part of the team selling process - Solutions and Creative, Account Management, Estimating, Project Management
- Strategize with Sales leadership to develop organic growth opportunities and strategic plans within existing and target accounts for new solutions
- Deliver annual revenue and account profitability targets, while increasing sales pipeline in accordance with sales growth plans.
- Develop and execute strategies to grow the sales pipeline and acquire new clients and sales for assigned area or book of business.
- With Business Development Representative assistance and Sales Operations intelligence, prospect to generate new leads, identify, and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select deals in line with Imagine value proposition and strategies, and lead and facilitate pitch logistics.
- Attend networking activities to research and connect with prospective clients.
- Regularly enter and update Salesforce with prospect and customer intelligence, insights and contact information to facilitate up-to-date sales intelligence and future cross-selling opportunities and to sustain Imagine customer focus and business growth.
- Identify trends and customer needs, building a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in accordance with targets.
- Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer headlines while meeting regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss strategy.
- Lead the development of proposals and presentations for new business to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships.
- Present and conduct compelling virtual demonstrations, enlisting others at Imagine as needed to win new business.
- Construct and support deal structure and pricing with business value analysis and negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals.
- Manage proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements, content creation, and inputs from various sources.
- Work with sales leaders and account executives to track performance, report metrics and transition new customers to the appropriate Account Executives and/or Account Management for ongoing relationship management.
- Assist with the development and implementation of overarching sales and business development strategy, sales processes, structure, and best practices across the company.
- Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations.
- Assist in the implementation of marketing strategies.
- Perform other duties as required.
What you bring to the table: Core Qualifications: - 7-10 years of business development and B2B sales experience
- 2+ years in the commercial visual communications, printing, or marketing services space
- Record of strong prospecting, deal structuring and sales results
- Builds new relationships easily with a strong customer focus
- Strategic and critical thinking and planning skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Curious, researches, asks good questions and actively listens to understand
- Creative problem-solving, influencing and negotiation skills to create win-win solutions
- Experience with Salesforce and diligence in recording market and client intelligence in Salesforce throughout sales process
- Understands technology and demonstrates comfort and knowledge in the technology and digital space
- Experience delivering polished, high-impact presentations in person and via video conference
- Collaborates well with others
- Proficiency with data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
- Leadership skills and ability to motivate self and others to win
- Proven ability to plan, prioritize and manage time and resources
- Strong written, communication, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Salesforce platform, and production management systems
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in advertising services, print industry or related industries such as retail, décor, direct mail, shelf edge or agency
- Experience collaboratively selling and negotiating client technology platforms, with IT partners, that support product and service purchases
- Strong existing print industry contacts at major retail and foodservice chains
- Successful completion of/certification in strategic selling course
- Understanding value-based selling from creative through commercial, digital and wide format printing and fulfillment services
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
- Bilingual or multilingual proficiency in any language (including ASL) preferred

The national pay range for this role is $90,000- $150,000 annually. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission, or incentive program.
