  • NO BLOCK SCHEDULING OR TRAVEL PAIRS. All travelers must work holidays and days around. None will be approved.
    Job Requirements
  • Role (RN, Tech, LPN, PT, etc.): RN
  • Specialty: 4W Pulmonary Intermediate PCU
  • Shift: 6:45PM - 7:15AM
  • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
  • Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
  • Years of Experience: 2+ PCU
  • Float Requirements: Yes – Any other PCU or Med Surg
  • Must Have Skills/Experience: Proficient in cardiac monitoring, IV therapy (including PICC line management, dressing changes), IV medications (administration of antibiotics, drips including heparin, nitroglycerin, amiodarone, cardizem) & Tracheostomy Management
  • Preferred Skillset/Experience: Proficient with BiPAPs and high flow and Proficient with chest tubes, Pulmonary disease management
  • Personality Fit: Positive attitude, flexibility with changes on the unit (patient assignments/floated to another unit), and excellent critical thinking in stressful situations.
    Schedule Information
  • Duration of assignment – for these positions, approval to offer 13-18 week assignments
    Unit Specific Information
  • Number of Beds: 21
  • Patient Ratios: 4:1, can go up to 5:1, 3:1 for BiPAP teams
  • Equipment: BiPAPS, High flow, and telemetry monitoring, occasional Cardiac Drips
  • EMR: Cerner - Preferred
