    Job Details
  • The Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA), under the clinical supervision of a Physical Therapist, performs direct patient care activities using a variety of therapeutic procedures, and assistive devices designed to restore loss of muscle strength, coordination and body alignment, to relieve pain and to improve movement and function.
  • We are looking for PT Assistant with both in and out-patient experience.
  • The workload is about 50/50 between the two.
  • Shift is 8-5 with hour lunch Mon-Fri.
  • We serve the hospital on Saturdays and all the therapists share that responsibility, so there would be 1 and at most 2 Saturday per month with time off during the week.

    Additional Details
  • OVERTIME & BILLING RULES: Billing Cycle is weekly.
  • Any missed meals and breaks must be pre-approved by Supervisor prior to missing and will be paid with proof of approval.
  • Overtime Policy: The overtime rate for any hours worked in excess of 40 hours/week shall be billable at the Regular Hourly Rate plus $10/hr.
  • The holiday rate shall be defined as the Regular Hourly Rate plus $10/hr.
  • The on-call rate shall be defined in the Job Posting.
  • Note: For any 10-hour or 12-hour shifts, the Agency is to invoice MMH the All-Inclusive Rate for the entire shift.
  • There is no elevated billing allowed for hours 9, 10, 11 & 12.
  • Housing can be somewhat difficult to find.
  • The facility prefers credentialing be sent in one batch.
  • It is acceptable and encouraged to provide updates but please send compliance all at the same time once completed.
