Customer Service Representatives are responsible for assisting Dayton Freight customers with a variety of inquires including freight pickup requests, rate quotes or freight charges, hot shipments, shipment tracing and appointments or special requests.

Responsibilities

n - Assist the Service Center Manager
n - Take and deliver messages for the Service Center Manager and Account Managers
n - Provide assistance to Drivers
n - Prepare bills of lading and delivery receipts
n - Maintain excellent communication with external and internal customers as well as interline companies
n
n
May be asked to assist with:

n - Payroll
n - Data entry
n - Freight reports
n - Driver collect reports
n - Billing and filling
n
n
Qualifications
n
n - Skillful in Microsoft Office Programs
n - Excellent keyboarding skills
n - Has worked in a fast paced environment and has excellent attention to detail
n - Experience with handling a high volume of phone calls
n - Exceptional communication and customer service skills
