Summary/Objective The Sales Director is a key contributor to the organization with responsibility for providing strategic direction and leadership across the company's divisional sales teams by overseeing their activities and performance to expand business development opportunities and increase sales volume.
High level duties include motivating our sales teams, building cross-divisional relationships, designing strategic sales plans, and assessing costs and competition.

- Sales Leadership - provide strategic direction, leadership and motivation to sales teams
- Sales Target Achievement - Set and monitor sales targets, in conjunction with Executive Management, ensuring consistent performance
- Client Relationship Management - Work directly with individual sales executives to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers
- Market Expansion - Assess costs, competition and industry trends to identify growth opportunities in new and existing markets
- Team Development - Recruit, train and mentor sales executives both individually and as a company unit.
- Product Offerings - Support the evaluation and qualification of potential new products, platforms and solutions to expand the company's offerings.
- Inter-departmental Collaboration - Collaborate across all divisions at all levels to maximize productivity, quality, and efficiency, ensuring the customer experience is outstanding and consistent.

Work EnvironmentThis position operates in an office environment with travel to customers/prospects as necessary.
Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is an exempt position with flexibility of hours and schedule as dictated by demands of the job. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm EST, with potential for after hours as business needs arise.
TravelTravel to customer/prospect sites on a regular basis as needed
Travel to tradeshows and business conferences on an occasional basis as needed
Required Education and Experience- Bachelor's degree in business administration, or a related field, and/or 5 plus years industry or technical sales experience
- Proven track record in sales management
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization as well as externally to prospects and customers
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Strong business acumen and industry expertise
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Familiarity with building solutions, construction, or related field
