Position: VDC Project Manager
Reports to: VDC Program Manager
Location: Columbus, OH
Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000

The Superior Group is looking for a highly motivated and organized VDC Project Manager to join our fast-paced team. This position will work on several innovative and exciting projects in a variety of market sectors including data centers, higher education, healthcare, enterprise, and industrial projects. This position will be based at our company headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. The VDC Project Manager is responsible for managing BIM projects, delivering on BIM scope, scheduling BIM resources, ensuring that budgets and timelines are met, and working closely with the field operations team to ensure the successful progress and completion of the project.
Key Responsibilities- Lead our BIM project team(s) including BIM modelers, VDC coordinators/designers and BIM managers, and provide clear communication and guidance on scope, deliverables and timeline.
- Own the full scope of the BIM project contract and BIM deliverables including 2D construction-level layouts, 3D coordinated construction models, and 2D prefabrication build sheets and shop/install drawings.
- Maintain a high degree of quality on our BIM work and deliverables Per TSG's BIM Standards, and Owner's BIM Execution Plan.
- Ensure compliance with the full project BIM schedule from project kickoff to project closeout.
- Manage all project finance requirements, including project cost control, change order management, and cost-to-complete, and ensure the project is completed within budget.
- Chair project meetings including planning, progress updates, and reviews with customers
- Review all project documents including estimates, design drawings, specifications, and BIM execution plan.
- Effectively collaborate with other departments across the organization to ensure alignment of deliverables and expectations including engineering, project and field operations
- Develop and adhere to department BIM standards
- Maintain and grow the trust of clients by cultivating relationships, communicating swiftly, collaborating, and solving challenges

Your Expertise- You have 3+ years of experience in VDC/BIM including Bluebeam, Navisworks, Revit, and shop drawings.
- You have 5+ years of experience in commercial project management or construction management.
- You have 7+ years of experience working as a consulting electrical engineer/designer, field electrician or other related fields.
- You earned your associate degree or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or construction management, or other related fields.
