Summary: The Area Technology Manager is responsible for supporting and maintaining technical equipment at Bowlero centers, including arcade games, laser tag, IT systems, and voice/data technology. This role involves training and supporting center staff, performing equipment installation and maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, and deploying innovative technologies. The Area Technology Manager ensures asset tracking, provides technical analysis, and supports enterprise-wide initiatives. With a focus on customer service and team development, the ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, including troubleshooting networks and computer equipment, and must adapt to dynamic schedules, working with a high sense of urgency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities The primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Technical Equipment Maintenance: - Train and support center staff in servicing amusement equipment (arcade games, laser tag) and technical systems.
- Perform installation, inspection, repair, replacement, rotation, and preventative maintenance of equipment in Bowlero centers.
- Provide technical advice for testing and deploying computer field technology.
IT Systems Deployment and Support: - Deploy computers, communication equipment, and voice/data technology at new or remodeled centers.
- Support enterprise-wide hardware installations and application rollouts.
- Ensure proper asset tracking and management.
- Use software and hardware to troubleshoot and provide technical analysis for IT communications, Point of Sale (POS) systems, mobile devices, printers, networks, cabling, servers, and associated systems.
Operational Support: - Assist Bowlero centers by evaluating system requirements, ordering necessary components, completing installations, and performing quality assurance tests.
- Handle tasks through the incident and request management system and provide regular progress reports to management.
- Assist centers in the selection and presentation of redemption prizes by determining merchandise to be stocked.
Training and Standards: - Train center staff in repairs, preventative maintenance, and revenue optimization techniques.
- Supervise and train staff on Bowlero Corporation service standards.
- Implement and follow all existing and new Bowlero service standards or standard operating procedures related to your area.
General Responsibilities: - Operate a company vehicle as needed.
- Be available to work varying shifts, weekends, holidays, and extended workdays to address urgent business needs, such as down centers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Qualifications - Proficiency in troubleshooting IT systems, network issues, and POS equipment.
- Strong customer service and leadership skills, with experience training and developing staff.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and extended hours.
- Technical degree or certification preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
Education and Experience Required - 5+ years of experience in a service or technical support role with some exposure to Arcade Game Room Operations, Electronics and Mechanical Repairs
Preferred - Associate's degree or Technical Certification
Work Environment/Physical Demands: Bowling center or office environment where you will walk, bend, and stand for periods of time, and may lift objects with some assistance. The noise level is typical for bowling.

The approximate pay rate for this position is $80,000 annually. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
