Job Summary
Identifies and manages Business Development initiatives designed to position El Paso Health (EPH) as the preferred market leader for Medicaid and Medicare health plans in EPH's service area(s). Responsible for monitoring the competitive landscape across all of EPH's lines of business, assessing strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Researches potential products, programs, services, partnerships, and other initiatives specifically designed to improve EPH's growth and expansion opportunities. Develops and implements programs that align with and support the health plan's strategic business priorities. Works proactively and independently to anticipate threats to EPH's future growth and success. Maintains a deep, strategic knowledge of the Managed Care industry, conducts insightful research on industry trends, and seeks out and develops external relationships with key partners and vendors. Collaborates across departments and functions to lead and/or implement programs that ensure the highest possible levels of member satisfaction and retention.

Work Experience
Three years of management/supervisory experience required. Strong experience with strategic planning and/or business intelligence, preferably in a healthcare related environment.
Education and Training
Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Strategic Planning, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field required.
