Responsibilities:
Culinary Operations: Manage the culinary operations for the Taiwanese Cantonese cuisine station, including menu development, recipe execution, and maintaining high standards of safety and sanitation
Team Supervision: Lead and mentor a team of hourly cooks, providing training to elevate their skills and overseeing daily production to ensure quality and presentation
Menu Development: Develop menus that reflect current Taiwanese and Cantonese culinary trends, ensuring the authenticity and appeal of the cuisine
Communication: Fluent in Mandarin to effectively communicate with staff and clients
Qualifications:
Experience: Strong, hands-on cooking experience with Cantonese and Taiwanese cuisine
Culinary Skills: Creating healthful daily menus, with a flair for new and contemporary Taiwanese and Cantonese cuisine
Leadership: Ability to inspire and lead a kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of quality and safety

Position Summary:
Culinary Creativity: Follows culinary trends and innovates, is able to translate ideas into unique menu and recipe programs that advance the culinary experience for the client/customers
Compliance: Ensures compliance with industry standards, and accredited organizations of local, state and federal standards and other regulatory requirements, as well as with client's templates and standards for customer service. Provide expert advice and guidance relating to standards and practices for food production, delivery, inventory management, and culinary services. Provide operational support to existing and prospective client accounts. Conduct unit operational assessments and financial analyses. Visit and inspect current accounts, providing objective feedback based on operational standards and ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.
Training: Must be able to articulate and demonstrate a wide range variety of cooking techniques and skills for the management and hourly staff (presentation, quality, safety, proper culinary techniques Communicate the Division's retail strategy and provide input to area leadership on its implementation within a region. Recommends changes in operations based on standards, identify appropriate resources, and assist in implementation plans. Conduct inspection tours of facilities to provide information needed to develop a proposal for prospective clients.
Financial/Growth: Ability to manage and demonstrate proven results with food costs, labor and controllable expenses. Supports the sales process by assisting with operations and costing analyses, and by providing technical support in the development of service proposals. Ensure that area meets specific targets for reduction of food cost through implementation of food production systems and purchasing compliance. Ensure that area meets specific targets for implementation of purchasing/product compliance and product rationalization.
Leadership: Ability to effectively manage and communicate with Culinary Staff, key staff and stakeholders, management teams
Basic Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years
MUST HAVE
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
Mush have cooking experience with Cantonese and Taiwanese cuisine
Fluent in Mandarin.
Experience in managing the culinary operations for the Taiwanese Cantonese cuisine station, including menu development, recipe execution, and maintaining high standards of safety and sanitation.
