Description Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, the Digital Management Services Director will lead one or more complex, large scale project teams during the full lifecycle to provide guidance and oversight on schedule, process, product, and financials. The role will span engagement with project teams during all phases of the project and interfaces significantly with the user community. The Director will provide oversight for software development and deployment projects, acting as the point-of-contact and centralized management for all members of the project team throughout the project lifecycle. They will also identify and define all risks and issues with assigned projects and provide leadership with visibility to support their resolution.
Duties and Responsibilities: - Manage one or more large-scale IT projects from beginning to end. The projects may include development, deployment, and infrastructure with complexity around technology, cross-functional dependencies, and multiple stakeholders across various business units.
- Define project scope, charter, goals and deliverables in support of business goals and work with senior leadership and stakeholders for approvals.
- Ensure that projects are completed on time and meet all business and system requirements.
- Conduct all project management tasks to ensure schedule, cost, and quality goals.
- Ensure project scope and requirements are well documented and managed properly throughout the delivery cycle of the project.
- Develop project plans, schedule and work breakdown structure for projects.
- Communicate project status, progress on deliverables, and risks/issues to stakeholders and CTO in a timely manner.
- Discuss and prioritize project issues with the project team. Provide help/support to the project team as required.
- Work with developers and contractors to ensure appropriate project staffing and resource plan.
- Collaborate with business users and team members to define thesaurus and authorities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, software engineers, developers, technical leads, and business users to ensure timely delivery of project.
- Identify and resolve conflicts within the project team and/or leadership.
- Maintain project tracking and provides status reports to CTO.
- Adhere to change management processes during the project lifecycle.
Qualifications and Requirements: - A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline preferred or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum of eight years in a business environment.
- Digital Asset Management system implementation required.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle.
- Proven in-depth knowledge of project management disciplines.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager on large-scale projects with a successful project delivery record.
- Proven experience in managing projects leveraging different software development methodologies.
- Proven experience in managing projects in a multi-stakeholder and cross-functional environment.
- Experience in measuring project success factors with respect to cost, schedule and quality, meeting requirements, product quality, test quality, and code quality.
- Practical experience with requirements and test case development.
- Strong experience interacting with business users and managing expectations.
- Experience working in a multi-contractor environment.
- Ability to work with Business teams and business leads to estimate cost and negotiate requirements to minimize project impact.
- Flexible with a strong ability to shift direction quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
- Available to work evenings and weekends as needed to meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications: - A master's degree in a technical discipline preferred.
- PMP certification preferred.
- OpenText experience a plus.
- Collection Management system implementation a plus.

The expected base salary for this role is $140,000. The actual pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and other factors permitted by law. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis.
