We're currently searching for an Associate VP of business development who can partner with multiple departments to drive measurable results to grow our business. Our ideal candidate will be able to implement an effective sales approach that expands our reach, builds our pipeline, and strengthens prospect relationships. They will proactively seek out business opportunities that can boost revenue and set our company apart.

Position Summary:

Phaedon is seeking an AVP, Business Development to work within a strong and innovative team environment on our Growth team. As a product and services organization, Phaedon seeks candidates with a track record of developing and selling across a suite of digital offerings: CXT, analytics, SaaS loyalty product, and related professional services. This involves direct outreach, building and proactively managing new business, developing net-new pipelines and negotiating opportunities.

Role Objective

Define and implement an integrated sales strategy that prioritizes growth.

Identify, develop and conduct direct outreach to key decision makers within target prospects.

Build and maintain professional relationships with prospects resulting in growing the sales pipeline.

Monitor and report on sales progress to ensure that corporate goals are being met.

Primary Skills

  • Proven record of new logo sales growth
  • Strong knowledge of business and sales growth strategies and techniques
  • Experience with businesses development in the experience, loyalty and CRM space including SaaS platforms, technology, strategy, experience and analytics.
  • Strong project management and communication skills in both verbal and written at all levels of an organization.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Enthusiasm for the company and our growth potential with ability to act as a senior representative of our organization at industry events and conferences.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the sales process, sales strategies and the steps involved to develop a healthy sales pipeline and the business development processes of moving prospects through the sales funnel.


Responsibilities:
• Sell across a suite of digital offerings in target industries with a particular emphasis on: Travel, Hospitality, Retail, Healthcare.
• Interact with prospective clients to create and/or respond to inquiries about our loyalty solutions.
• Work with SME, marketing and contracts teams to write proposals and/or RFP responses. Lead related pitch efforts.
• Track the prospects throughout the sales process and keep the pipeline and other CRM related activities recorded and up to date, keeping leadership stakeholders notified throughout the process.
• Maintaining sales process timeframes, revenue estimates and status reports.
• Working with marketing, SMEs and other relevant cross-functional team members to respond to marketing qualified leads, RFPs and prospects.
• Building and implementing sales strategies that deliver pipeline, prospect, revenue and other sales goals.
• Using pipeline management tool (e.g., Husbspot) to track process and performance.

Education & Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Communications, Technology or closely related degree
  • 5+ years' experience in proactive complex sales and pipeline building with strong communications skills.
  • Excellent networking, organizational and problem-solving skills

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is: $127,500 - $172,500 plus there will be an incentive package for this role.
