V and E Engineer

Provides hands-on integration and prototyping expertise combined with cyber technology knowledge to enable the development, integration, test/assessment, and delivery of unique technical solutions to meet critical client needs. Maintains an awareness of market and technology trends in order to bring best of breed solutions to the client. Applies specific functional knowledge, systems engineering rigor, and in-depth industry knowledge. Provides hands-on support to integrate, test, and assess/characterize a variety of COTS and custom products in a unique lab environment. Works closely with the end users and developers to develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Works independently with minimal guidance; may review or guide activities of more junior employees. Bachelors degree and 4-6+ years of directly related experience or Masters degree and 3-4+ years directly related experience. Years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree for certain roles. Certifications may be accepted in lieu of a degree for certain technical roles.

Qualifications:

• 10 years experience required for Senior level.
• 5+ years of systems engineering and/or software development lifecycle experience
• 3+ years of experience with system or network design, implementation, integration, testing, and security
• 2+ years of experience with Wi-Fi, cellular, and/or mobile technologies and protocols
• Knowledge of Linux, Python, VMware
• Knowledge of networking protocols, routing, firewalls
• Knowledge of software vulnerabilities and exploits
• Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph required
• Bachelors require or HS diploma and 4 years experience

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with KaliLinux, Wireshark
• Experience with software development
• Experience with Cybersecurity products, including anti-virus and endpoint security variants and methods
• Experience with mobile security products and capabilities
• Experience with end point and/or network forensic analysis
• Knowledge of firmware or embedded systems
• Knowledge of operating systems at the administrative or kernel level
• Knowledge of the intelligence community (IC)'s mission, vision, goals, and values
