Job DescriptionProject Manager IIThis position requires an active
Public Trust clearance.
Oversee, plan, and coordinate all aspects of various IT-related projects from initiation to delivery. Assemble project team, assign individual responsibilities, identify appropriate necessary resources, and develop detailed project plans/schedules to ensure timely completion. Coordinate activities performed by IT staff and internal customers/partners by defining project scope and requirements. Perform feasibility and needs/impact assessments.

Project Manager II Responsibilities Include: - Evaluates and develops project plans and budgets.
- Coordinates with multiple internal and external groups.
- Disseminates information on any problems or potential delays and mitigation plans.
- Ensures that projects remain on schedule and within budget.
- Communicates project progress to appropriate audiences.
- Manages aspects of customer interface, including requirements of cost, schedule, and technical performance.
- Manages project deliverables and progress through continuous communication with project members.
- Participates in negotiation of requirements and requirements changes.
- Oversee Cost, Schedule, Scope, and Risk Management.
- Serves as focal point for and liaison between departments on project status or other project information.
- Provides leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle and provides practical guidance on driving projects to completion.
- Recommends and implements improvements to IT's PMO processes of a moderate nature.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Project Manager II Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: - Bachelor's Degree in information systems, business administration, finance, or accounting and 5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Working knowledge of project management and creating and implementing project schedules.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lead, mentor and advise large teams.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
