Director, Strategy and Transformation (#QW-0703) HQ- SAN JOSE, CA FULL-TIME Job Description: - Drive the process optimization and transformation of the company's Strategy & Transformation Offices to identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies.
- Lead strategic project problem-solving efforts by identifying and defining key issues, developing hypotheses and designing required analyses.
- Support cascading strategy into operating plans and the development of strategic partnerships.
- Shape and develop long-term strategy for multiple business verticals.
- Prepare dashboard reports, board presentations, and communication materials to convey strategic insights and recommendations to executives and board investors.
- Communicate recent performance and provide forward- looking perspectives on impact vs. plan and interventions to accelerate and sustain performance.
- Assist in the development of the organization's long-term strategic plans and initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Chief Transformation and Strategy Officer to refine goals, objectives, and action plans .
Minimum Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience as an engagement manager in strategy consulting.
- Work experience to include: 1) 3 years of experience in strategy analytics, leading and developing teams to conduct data analytics, and delivering recommendations adopted and implemented by executive and functional leadership in order to drive the strategy and operation of the business. 2) 3 years of experience in one of the following top-tier strategy consulting firms, McKinsey & Co., BCG, or Bain & Co. 3) 3 years of experience developing strategies to scale growth companies. 4) 3 years of experience planning and executing multi-functional business transformations. 5) 3 years of experience conducting strategic diligence with mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships. 6) 3 years of strategic consulting experience for technology-based organizations. 7) Utilizing analytical tools within e-commerce or the technology industry, including Excel, Structured Query Language (SQL), Tableau, Python, and PowerBI. 8) Supporting at least two different initiatives simultaneously: including leading multi-year strategic growth plan processes for corporate and business units, leading annual goal-setting and quarterly tracking of business units and corporate functions performance towards goals, leading transformation offices in at least a $2 million turnaround of business unit profitability, and leading the structuring and execution of internal consulting projects for business units and corporate functions. 9) Leading, retaining, and developing analyst teams while aligning resources for project completion. 10) Working collaboratively with business units, leaders, finance, operations, technology development, and human resources in a cross-functional environment to identify and propose performance improvement initiatives, resulting in multi-year growth and profitable financial impact. 11) Preparing reports on business performance and market analysis for technical and non-technical audiences. All experience can be gained concurrently.
