Job Details
Responsibilities:
As a Workers Compensation Associate Attorney, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Representing clients in all aspects of workers compensation claims, including but not limited to, hearings, appeals, and litigation.
2. Conducting thorough case evaluations to determine the validity of clients' claims.
3. Developing and implementing effective legal strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
4. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating settlement agreements.
5. Providing expert legal advice to clients regarding their rights and obligations under workers compensation laws.
6. Staying abreast of the latest developments in workers compensation laws and regulations.
7. Collaborating with other team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
8. Maintaining the highest standards of professional conduct and ethics.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Workers Compensation Associate Attorney role should possess the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the Ohio state bar. NO EXCEPTIONS**
3. A minimum of 1 years of experience in workers compensation law, including experience in hearings and litigation. This role is plaintiff side- but defense attorneys are welcome to apply.
4. Demonstrated ability to represent clients effectively in court.
5. Excellent research and analytical skills.
6. Exceptional negotiation skills.
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines.
9. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
10. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
11. Demonstrated commitment to advocating for the rights of workers.
