Physical Demands/Working Conditions: -May work in the hospital with a fixed unit or in an ambulatory Mobile Unit at one of the Medical Centers. -May be potentially exposed to radiation if proper precautions are not utilized. May be exposed to high-voltage equipment. -May be exposed to potentially contagious patients. -Occasionally may lift and/or move equipment and/or patients that would be in excess of 10 lbs. Required Education: -High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required. -Must maintain required hours of continued medical education. Required Certification & Licensure: -BLS -Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and the advanced registry in Computed Tomography (CT) or registry-eligible.
