Job Description
This role is responsible for supporting planning and implementation of strategic initiatives, system enhancements, integration and conversion projects within Federal Government Program. Support Project Management Team with the definition of project scope, plans, goals, deliverables, tasks and resource requirements and invoicing. Work closely with technology team, operations, technology departments, vendors, other departments and other business resources to document and implement solutions that are effective, informative and support the end users.

Essential Job Duties:
  • Coordinate project management activities for small to medium size projects.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by assessing effectiveness of current processes, programs and systems to recognize opportunities for standardization, increased efficiency, cost reduction, increased quality and improved project experience.
  • Engage with the business and technical teams to identify potential solutions and provide recommendations and thought leadership.
  • Maintain project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures.
  • Coordinate and organize stakeholder and project meetings.
  • Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to project team members.
  • Document and follow-up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
  • Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings.
  • Ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Provide administrative support as needed.
  • Develop project strategies.
  • Assess project risks and issues. Provide solutions where applicable.
  • Partner closely with teams to execute solutions and act as a liaison between the customer community and business owners.
  • Provide timely and regular updates as required to stakeholders and senior management. Provide accurate, detailed, and meaningful statistics.
  • Ensure projects adhere to SDLC framework and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
Physical Requirements

Minimum Skills and Competencies:

  • Bachelor's Degree or in-lieu of degree equivalent education, training and work-related experience.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting the Project Management of projects in a technical development environment.
  • Process oriented business experience.
  • Working knowledge of development and testing methodologies.
  • Proven abilities working in Agile, Scrum and Waterfall development environments.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to understand how a process fits into the overall business model.
  • Ability to understand technical functionality and documentation and produce non-technical documentation.
  • Deliver high-quality work, characterized by exactness and completeness.
  • Ability to identify potential problems and escalate as needed.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills with a disciplined mindset.
  • Ability to influence others and negotiate effectively.
  • Self-motivated, deadline-driven, ability to support multiple projects with competing priority.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Project, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio).

Desired Skills:
  • 3+ years of experience in IT servicing industry.
  • Knowledge of Lender Placed Insurance requirements.
  • Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS).
  • Experience working with Business Requirement Applications (Modern Requirements).
  • Working knowledge of Mavenlink system
